Hk Lem Trigger - I am considering buying the kit for $150 and converting my HK45 to the LEM Light variant.
Right here! I have LEM triggers in my HK45. I've never been a huge fan of DA pull in HKs, until I found a lot on this one, so I jumped on it. If I brought HK, this is the version I would carry.
Hk Lem Trigger
Yeah, always loved the LEM system, every HK I owned had it until VP9 came out. If a new shooter is looking for a carry pistol, I would have no hesitation in recommending the HK with LEM as a safety pistol. The LEM system is simple enough that a new shooter doesn't need a safety, but there is enough trigger "resistance" before it breaks to let the shooter know that the pistol will fire if he pulls harder. While it is not a light trigger pull, it is a continuous pull that is very predictable when it breaks. It is safe to cover the hammer with your thumb when you are holstered.

Probably the biggest hate on the LEM is the trigger before the slide mount is the actual trigger pull. Once people understand and try the LEM trigger, it clears up a lot of misconceptions.
But usually what I hear is that you either love it or hate it. My choice is positive.
There is also a LEM fan here. I only buy HK pistols now and they have LEM triggers. I tried to get V1 light sources, but as you know some models only come with standard V2. I recently bought a Hk45C with a V1 light, I didn't know about it until the pistol arrived. So HK already knew that its customers liked the lighter trigger spring. My EDC is a LEM p2000sk (below). Just ordered another p2000 V2 9mm yesterday. So... I'm a big fan of HK and their LEM! !
I am a huge fan of HK and their LEM trigger system. I'll go on, but it's not necessary because you've already seen the benefits. Yes, upgrade your 45 to a Light LEM V1.

I've never tried a HK LEM trigger before, and as a fan of DA/SA rallies and love of my SIG, I'm not sure what to think.
Bought one at local shop, HK45 LEM...tried it...trigger pull is great. I definitely see the value in it and now I want one...
I'm a DA/SA guy, I'm not a LEM fan. I have a LEM P30L and it shoots fine, but I'm still partial to DA/SA. As with most other options, it's a personal preference, and if you liked the LEM on the P30, you'll like it on the HK45 too.
Reiney says: ...any ideas from current/former LEM owners? Click to expand... yes, light the LEM or go home... Just kidding, I really like the LEM trigger (lighting).

With the exception of the early USP45 Tactical (V1), all my hammer polymers have been purchased and/or converted to lightweight LEMs. Yesterday I ordered the Universal LEM Kit + Light Trigger Recoil Spring for my recently purchased 2004 V1 USPC .357
By the way, if you buy the universal kit from Top Gun Supply or directly from HK, you will save $30. There are a few other sites that sell these kits for less, but they are currently out of stock.
Put one in the HK45C and choose the lightest one. It was fun, but in the end I didn't enjoy it. It's a bit too weird to have such a light but long pull, and I still don't like how it broke this far. In the end he sold the gun.

Yes, the HKs here trigger the LEM. Their matcher trigger system does not work with HK45, 45C or "P" guns - so, we are LEM! !
Never had a problem with HK or Sig DA/SA, but by far the best (and probably safest) trigger I have is the HK P7. . .
You might want to consider getting HK to install that LEM trigger. Jess did a great job for me at a very reasonable cost...
I like the LEM P30SK trigger as a CCW pistol, but prefer the P30L and HK45's DA/SA.
Item Gone: Fs Hk45c Lem
I have greatly improved the DA trigger pull on my P30L with two simple spring changes, the hammer spring and the HK factory tap block spring, and I don't want to change it to a LEM.
I have a lot of HK and have a USP Compact 9 converted to LEM lite to try. I'm so glad I did because I think it's the best form of self defense for me. I like that I can easily fire triggers if I want to
Glad to see many Sig members enjoying the HK LEM trigger. Again, there must be as many or more people who don't care about it, which is to be expected as it is certainly very different from Striker, SA, and DA/SA. I have a heavy LEM and a light LEM on my HK and I really like shooting them.
Renewal. If I don't like the LEM trigger, I'll put the old part back...

Just back in Hong Kong. ...my LGS finally reopened, so I bought VP9 yesterday; i thought they could use this sale after being closed for almost two months.
